LOOKING FOR A TRUCK DRIVING JOB?

If you are really serious about finding a truck driving job, then there are 3 things you will need:

1) A RESUME: Trucking companies don't have much time to talk to each driver face to face. With so many drivers out of work now, they are inundated with phone calls and applicants. Find a resume service and get a resume done professionally. It's the edge you will need to land that perfect driving job.

2) YOUR MVR: Many trucking companies will want you to fax them your motor vehicle report. Make sure it is a fresh one, less than 30 days old. Many drivers "say" they are all good on their driving history, but it's another thing for the prospective employer to "see" that you are telling the truth. Who would you hire? The guy who says he's all good or the guy who PROVES it!?

3) TRUCKING COMPANY PHONE NUMBERS: In today's job market, you will need between 40 and 60 phone numbers of trucking companies that are still hiring. Many are laying off or shutting their doors. The more sites you can hit via websearches, the better. There is no real excuse for going longer than 1 month without a trucking job, they are still hiring, you just have to find them!
